1990年に鬼太鼓座に入座
同年から1993年までアメリカ大陸一周
15,000 km を走破
鬼太鼓座─創始者、故・田耕(でん・たがやす)氏に師事。

その間3回のカーネギーホール公演を含め全米の主要な
都市などで約500回の舞台をアメリカ各地で披露

その後座の中心的メンバーとして国内はもとより
ヨーロッパ、アジアの各地で2000回以上の舞台をこなし
2004年の夏に独立
ソロ活動に入る

2006年10月、東京文化会館─小ホールにてソロ・
リサイタルを開催するなど、全国各地で演奏

また、三味線、尺八などの和楽器にとどまらず、
ピアノ、馬頭琴、二胡などとのコラボレーション、
ジャズ・ミュージシャンとのセッションなど
精力的にプロデュースし、作曲、演奏する


Born in Kuwana, Mie Japan.
In 1990, he joined in Ondekoza, one of famous drum group in Japan
and inherited Den Tagayasu, the founder of Ondekoza.

The US tour was held in 1990-1993.
The tour went through total distance of 15,000km.
During the tour, he performed in major cities in the US, and handled about 500 performances including Carnegie Hall.

After the US tour, he became a main performer in Ondekoza.
More than 2000 performances had done all over the world (the United States, Europe and Asia).

In 2004, solo activity has been started.

In October 2006, his career had been started from solo recital in Tokyo Bunka Kaikan (Tokyo Culture Hall), he continues to earn his career as a solo artist nationwide.

In addition, his performance is not only with Japanese musical instruments such as Shakuhachi and Shamisen, but also Jazz musical instruments such as Piano and Sax, and Asian musical instruments.

He organizes his performance by himself as a producer, music composition, and a player.
